Job Responsibilities
1.Development of electronic PCBAs for new products including schematic design, simulation, layout and test.
2.Definition and execution of test plans to validate PCBA hardware design and product functionality
3.Prototype manufacturing using local suppliers and in house reworking.
4. EMC measurement, test and resolution
5.Analysing data and writing of Technical Reports in English language.
6.Collaborate with R&D Teams and / or external suppliers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and validate appropriate corrective action.
7. Requirements analysis and design review.
8.Preparing and presenting information, ideas and data..
9.Production and quality support (e.g. analysis of issues and implementing corrective action internally with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence).
10.Support feasibility for new programs, features and / or cost down opportunities.
11. Laboratory test equipment commissioning and use.
12. Global travel to brand HQs, suppliers and other external providers as necessary.
13.Works closely with the R&D Teams to architect and develop the best technical solution and approach
14.Work with Purchasing, Quality and project team to control the product and project delivery on time
Essential skills and experience
1.Ability to accurately plan own work and meet deadlines
2.At least 5 years of experience in PCBA design for household appliances.
3.Design for manufacture and production test experience.
4.Designing for EMC: Experience in testing and debugging to achieve EMC compliance.
5.Experience in the use of design software Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
6.Experience in working collaboratively with international development teams.
7.Experience of PCBA manufacture, production test equipment, prototyping and mass production.
8.Fluency in written and verbal communication in English.
9.Knowledge and experience of hardware related tasks in serial protocol: general purpose IO, ADCs, DACs, timers, interrupts, PWM, LCD displays, I2C, SPI, memory management, FLASH.
