Job Description:
1. Develop positive, synergistic business relationships with regional regulatory bodies and test agencies.
2. Participate on regional standards comities to represent the voice of Bosch Security Systems
Regulatory Standards Expert.
3. Understand the regional Frequency Spectrum, EMC, and Industry standards that our products are subject to.
4. Actively research changes to regional standards and evaluate impact to our products.
5. Assist in obtaining English translations of pertinent standards when necessary.
6. Identify regulatory based product requirements for Engineering during early stages of produce development.
7. Research requirements and approval processes for new market opportunities within the region.
8. Develop schedules and cost estimates for regional certification testing.
9. Organize, manage, and drive on time completion of regulatory certifications.
10. Facilitate timely resolution of technical issues identified during product certification testing.
11. Ensure certification test reports, product markings, and labeling are accurate and correct.
Professional requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Eng. Technology .
2. 3 years of experience in product development or product certification.
3. 2 years of experience in project management.
4. Experience with regulatory standards.
5. Good verbal and written English language skills.
6. Periodic travel to Europe and Unites States.
