ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work together with related department to review the product, parts, BoM and respond to inquiries with regards to parts compliance.Handle on-site auditing from UL, CCC, CQC,TUV, ETL, CSA, satefy compliance.
2. Provide support in the full material disclosure project, uploading forms to the environmental substance database, resolving technical issues related to substance data and supplier information.
3. Manage substance data information in the substance database which helps in managing substance information so that product designers can select parts compliant to Restrictions of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directives, Registration, Evaluation, & Authorization of Chemicals (REACH), and many other global environmental regulations.
4. Tracking product regulatory compliance including Battery Directive, Packaging Directive and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), RoHS and REACH.
5. Set up procedures (SOP) and follow up accordingly.
6. Review green data and respond to inquiries with regard to the compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCES
1. above 5 years of professional experience including internships and coops; Bill of materials(BOM) and data management experience; Prior experience within Electronic Company and familiar with parts for rechargeable power products.
2. BS and/or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering; Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (Access a plus); Familiar with one or more of RoHS, REACH, Battery Directive, Packaging directive or WEEE.
