Project Leader Job Duties:
1. Fulfill all duties for a Project Engineer as described in the Engineering Processes.
2. On-time project development, including but not limited to:
• Work with Purchasing on quotations
• Work with Tool Makers on mold design and fabrication
• Coordinate with material suppliers for initial purchases
• Work with Quality to verify and validate the design
3. Provide technical assistance within the company, including but not limited to:
• Problem solve internal quality issues as assigned
• Provide support to resolve questions from suppliers
• Assist manufacturing in solving engineering related issues
4. Work with Quality to ensure all product quality documents are completed accurately and on time.
5.Experience:
• At least 5 years or above experience in Industrial field;
• Good working knowledge of the fabrication of metal and plastic parts, inspection, assembly and packaging techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of plastic injection molding, stamping, tooling and manufacturing disciplines;
• Experience with Process Validation
• Hands on experience in Pro/Engineer Cad system;
• History of cost reduction efforts
• Good interpersonal communication skills and leadership,
• Excellent organizational skills
Prefered Knowledge:
• Iso-9000 / TS-16949, Project management knowledge and experience of implementation
• Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, Control plan, SPC, MSA and related technique
• Knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing & Dimensioning.
6.Specific Skills/Training:
• The ability to perform mechanical design reviews, including items such as tolerance stacking, material considerations, etc.
• Good presentation skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex designs to other functional groups.
• Problem solving skills: Able to clearly identify the problem to be solved and communicate it to co-workers. Experience creating and executing simple practical solutions to product problems in a manufacturing environment.
• The ability to read and write proficiently in English
7.Education:
6583 8114-|161 1073 1490 60Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or combination of education and work experience.
