KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supervises team and enhances effective and efficient control.
-Ensures that team can provide prompt service to internal users and secure material supply for production departments.
-Obtains and maintains the best deals for the company on quality, cost, delivery lead time and service.
-Sources reliable and competent vendors to meet company requirements.
-Coordinates and maintains the best relationship between suppliers and UTAC DG.
-Meets company goals and targets on cost reduction, lead time requirements, technology roadmap, and other administrative goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Basic university degree. Preference for those from electronics, electrical or engineering background.
-At least 8 years of experience in a purchasing role, with 3 years of managerial experience.
-Good working knowledge of SAP
-Good command of both spoken and written English and Putonghua (Mandarin).
-Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
-Able to both work as a team and independently.
