| Mattel Toys Technical Consultancy (SZ) Ltd., located
in Henggang Town, Shenzhen City, is the China Office of Mattel Asia
Pacific Sourcing Limited (MAPS). The mission of MAPS is to provide
finished products, that are cost and quality competitive, form third-party
sources. MAPS is dedicated to designing, developing, manufacturing
and shipping vendor sourced products that meet ever demanding requirements
of the Brand Business Units. With continuing expansion of our China operation, the company has experienced rapid headcount increase in the past two years. Total employees at the end of 2002 and 2003 were around 500 and 560 respectively, and expectedly reach 650 by the end of 2004.
